About the Journal

Proceedings of International Conference on Religion, Social and Humanities (ISSN 3089-3356) is a collection of scholarly papers presented at the International Conference on Religion, Social and Humanities (ICReSH), an academic forum organized by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah, Universitas Islam Negeri Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar, Indonesia. The conference aims to bring together researchers, academics, and practitioners from various disciplines to discuss and share research findings related to religion, social issues, and the humanities.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The peer review process for Proceedings of ICReSH ensures the quality and relevance of the articles submitted. Here is an example of the review process:

  1. Submission and Initial Screening:
    All manuscripts submitted to Proceedings of ICReSH must adhere to the focus and scope, as well as the author guidelines. The submitted manuscripts are initially screened to ensure they meet the proceedings's standards for scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the conference theme.
  1. Plagiarism Check:
    Submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check to ensure they are free from any plagiarized content. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to conduct a similarity check before submission.
  1. Blind Peer Review:
    The research articles submitted to Proceedings of ICReSH undergo a blind peer-review process. This involves sending the manuscript to at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers who are knowledgeable in the relevant field. The reviewers provide valuable scientific comments and feedback to improve the quality and content of the manuscript.
  1. Reviewers' Comments:
    The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, methodology, significance, and adherence to ethical standards. They provide constructive feedback, suggestions for improvement, and recommend whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
  1. Editor's Decision:
    Based on the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding the acceptance of the article. The decision is communicated to the authors along with the reviewers' comments for any required revisions.
  1. Publication:
    Once accepted, the articles are published in Proceedings of ICReSH in accordance with the sequence of acceptance date, thematic relevance, and geographical distribution of authors. The Editor-in-Chief oversees the publication process to ensure the quality and integrity of the published articles.

Authors who publish with Proceedings of ICReSH agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the Proceedings of ICReSH right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this proceedings.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the proceedings's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this proceedings.
  3.
